First Aid Measures for Electric Shock and Lightning Strike

Special attention should be paid to lightning protection when lightning strikes and thunder and lightning flashes. People are vulnerable to lightning strikes under trees or buildings. Lightning strikes and electric shocks can be fatal immediately, with minor injuries. An AC voltage exceeding 65 volts will harm the human body, and a high-voltage wire will cause an electric shock within a 10-meter square. The voltage of lightning can reach 100 million volts, and when it hits the human body, it can make people carbonize immediately. The rescue of an electric shocker should be done every second. Patients with respiratory or cardiac arrest are in very critical condition. At this time, they should be rescued and emergency contacted, and the patient should be sent to the nearest hospital for further treatment. The rescue work must not be interrupted while the patient is being transferred to the hospital.
1. Turn off the power switch, cut off the power, and then rescue. When the power cannot be turned off, you can use wooden sticks, bamboo poles, etc. to lift the wires away from the person who is in contact with the electric shock. If you can't pick up the wires or other electric devices that cause electric shock, apply a dry rope to the electric person to pull them away from the electric current. Rescuers put on rubber gloves, rubber sneakers, etc. Don't pull the electric shocker by hand. Don't forget your safety because you are eager to save people.
2. If the injured person is conscious, breathing and heartbeat are autonomous, the injured person should lie flat on the spot, observe closely, do not stand or move for the time being, to prevent secondary shock or heart failure.
3. When the injured person loses consciousness, call an ambulance immediately and try to wake the injured person. Those who have stopped breathing and have a heartbeat should lie down and unbutton their clothes on the ground, open the airway, and breathe artificially from mouth to mouth. Cardiac arrest and breathing should be immediately followed by chest chest compressions.
4. If it is found that his heartbeat breathing has stopped, resuscitation measures such as mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and chest cardiac massage should be immediately performed (except for a few confirmed electrocuted), and the general rescue time should not be less than 60-90 minutes. Until the shock is restored to the breath, heartbeat, or the diagnosis is hopeless. Rescue at the scene can perform mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and chest heart compression, respectively, at a ratio of 1: 5, that is, 1 artificial respiration and 5 heart compressions. If only 1 person is rescued at the scene, chest chest compressions and artificial respiration are performed with a ratio of 15: 2, that is, chest chest compressions are performed 15 times, and then mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration is performed 2 times. In this way, the rescue must be carried out to the end. .
note:
1. When dealing with electric shock, pay attention to whether there are other injuries. If they bounce off the power or fall from high altitude after an electric shock, they are often accompanied by craniocerebral trauma, blood pneumothorax, ruptured viscera, fracture of limbs and pelvis.
2. During on-site rescue, do not move the wounded casually. If it is necessary to move, the rescue interruption time should not exceed 30 seconds. Move the wounded or take them to the hospital. Except for the wounded lying flat on a stretcher and flat hard broad boards on the back, the rescue should be continued. Those who have stopped heartbeat breathing should continue artificial respiration and chest heart compression. Treatment cannot be suspended before taking over. 3. Do not use ointments or dirty dressings on wounds or wounds with electric burns, but use clean dressings or treat them to a doctor after taking them to the hospital.
4. When you encounter lightning and thunder, you should quickly avoid the building nearby. When there is nowhere to hide in the wild, take off metal objects such as watches and glasses, find low places to lie down and avoid, and never dodge under a tree. Do not stand on high walls, under trees, near electric poles, or near antennas
