Today, driven by Yuchai, the overall level of the domestic industry has been improved: the four-valve structure adopted first in design has become the industry's standard technology configuration; combustion and emission control technologies have basically reached the international advanced level, and the gap with the most advanced technology is only 1 year; In the post-processing control technology of gas, it has begun to compete with multinational companies for market; electronic control technology also breaks the monopoly of foreign suppliers.
During this period, Yuchai developed into the most complete internal combustion engine manufacturing base with a domestic product spectrum, and its total assets exceeded RMB 30 billion. More than 100 technicians who participated in the project were trained on the platform of “not eager for quick success, being willing to invest, and trusting techniciansâ€.
