India launches anti-dumping investigation on China Tire

On September 21, the anti-dumping bureau of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated a new anti-dumping investigation on new products from the Radial Tyres for Buses and Trucks originating in China. The applicants for the survey were Jiatong Tire (Anhui) Co., Ltd., Jiatong Tire (Fujian) Co., Ltd. and Giti Tire (Anhui) Company Ltd, GitiTire (Fujian) Company Ltd and Giti Tire (Chongqing) Company Ltd). According to the law, the Anti-dumping Bureau will determine the anti-dumping rates for these three companies separately.

The review investigation period was from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. All stakeholders should submit relevant information within 40 days after the announcement is filed. In October 2008, the Anti-dumping Bureau of India officially conducted an anti-dumping investigation on the product. In February 2010, the anti-dumping bureau made a definitive final ruling.
