After measuring the relevant data by the soil moisture tester, it was found that the degree of spatial variability of soil moisture on the slope was inversely proportional to the soil moisture content. When the soil moisture content was low, the spatial variability of soil moisture was high and the abutment value was high. With the increase of soil water content, the degree of spatial variability of soil moisture decreases, and the value of the abutment also becomes smaller. The nugget value shows a significant seasonal pattern, which is similar to the average soil moisture content. The soil water base level increases with the soil depth, ie, the soil layer is deepened, and the soil water variability increases.
