The low-end surplus of high-end hydrogen fluoride industry has become increasingly obvious

“At present, ordinary hydrogen fluoride products on the market are not very easy to sell, and the prices are also lower than the same period of last year. High-purity hydrofluoric acid is in short supply and the prices have been rising. The price in early May increased by 10% year-on-year.” Guangzhou Guangying Trading Co., Ltd. Company sales manager Yang Zhanye told reporters in a telephone interview. The signal of rising and falling market prices shows that the trend of excess production of low-end hydrogen fluoride and high-end demand is increasingly evident.

China's hydrogen fluoride is mainly used to produce fluorocarbons and fluoride salts, fluorocarbons are used in high-end coatings, fluoride salts are mainly used as flux for aluminum electrolysis, and they are also used as anti-wear additives for abrasive products, and for glass antireflection. Coatings, enamel emulsifiers, glass opacifiers, solder fluxes, ceramic fillers, insecticides, etc.

Luo Yamin, a senior analyst at China National Chemical Information Center, said that since 2005, China's hydrogen fluoride industry has entered an era of large capacity expansion, and hydrogen fluoride projects have been launched across the country. There are currently more than 50 hydrogen fluoride producers in China, with a total capacity of approximately 1.45 million tons in 2011/ In the year, it accounts for 54% of the world's total production capacity. In 2011, China's hydrogen fluoride production was about 1 million tons, an increase of 12% over the same period of last year. The average operating rate was only 67%, and production capacity was obviously excessive.

It is understood that in the next five years, domestic consumption of hydrogen fluoride will maintain an average annual growth rate of 6% to 7%, and it is expected that consumption will be 1.08 million to 1.2 million tons in 2015. Therefore, China's overcapacity of hydrogen fluoride will not change significantly in the next five years, and the average operating rate will remain at 60% to 70%.

The rapid expansion of domestic hydrogen fluoride production capacity has aroused the attention of the government. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “Entry Conditions for HF Industry” in February 2011, focusing on the proposal that the total scale of hydrogen fluoride for newly-built production enterprises should not be less than 50,000 tons/year, and new hydrogen fluoride should be built. The production capacity of a single set of production equipment shall not be less than 20,000 tons/year. At the end of April 2011, the “Fluorine Chemical Industry Adjustment Guidance Catalogue (2011)”, with the exception of electronic grade and wet-process phosphoric acid kits, newly established hydrogen fluoride devices have been listed as restricted projects, and 5,000 tons/year of process technologies are behind and contaminated. Severe hydrofluoric acid devices are classified as obsolete. Experts in the industry believe that this policy move will help curb the excess production of hydrogen fluoride in China.

According to experts, high-purity hydrofluoric acid is one of the key basic chemical materials for the manufacture of integrated circuits and VLSI circuits. It is mainly used for the cleaning and corrosion of integrated circuits and VLSI chips, as well as photovoltaic industry and liquid crystal display industries. Purification of aluminum and uranium plays an important role in the refinery as a catalyst for the alkylation of isobutane and butane. The purity and cleanliness of hydrofluoric acid have an important influence on the yield, electrical performance and reliability of integrated circuits. The product grade is generally divided into four grades. At present, there are nearly 10 companies that can produce SEMI C1-7 high-purity hydrogen fluoride in China. There are very few companies that can produce SEMI C8-12.

Despite the overall surplus of hydrogen fluoride production capacity in China, high-purity hydrogen fluoride products have been in short supply. Luo Yamin said that in 2005 China’s electronics industry consumed nearly 3,000 tons of high-purity hydrofluoric acid, including about 1,550 tons of imported products, and imports accounted for 52% of domestic consumption; in 2011, it had consumed more than 5,000 tons, and imported products were close to 2,500 tons. Still account for 50%. Over the past five years, although the production of domestic high-end hydrogen fluoride products has continued to rise, the consumption has also increased simultaneously and the import ratio has not decreased. From 2005 to 2011, the annual growth rate of domestic consumption exceeded 10%.

In addition to domestic demand, high-purity hydrogen fluoride products are also large in foreign markets, including Japan, the United States, the European Union, and China Taiwan, which are the major consumers of high purity hydrofluoric acid.

Due to the large demand for high-end products at home and abroad, many companies have begun to enter the high-end field. Luo Yamin introduced that Zhejiang Juhua Group Kaiheng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. completed the establishment of the first large-scale industrial-grade high-purity hydrofluoric acid plant of 6,000 tons per year in China in 2009. The products have been selling well since the start of construction; Fujian Shaowu Yongfei Chemical Co., Ltd. was completed in 2010. The 3,000-ton/year high-purity hydrofluoric acid plant was successfully put into operation and it is the second-largest enterprise in China. Zhejiang Lansu Fluorine Co., Ltd. also put into operation a 5,000 tonne/year high purity hydrofluoric acid project in January 2011.

As of June 2011, the production capacity of high-purity electronic grade hydrofluoric acid in China was approximately 26,000 tons/year. The electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid capacity currently under construction exceeds 50,000 tons/year.

Luo Yamin believes that at present, the domestic hydrogen fluoride industry not only begins to transition to high-end products, but also extends to resource-rich areas and downstream industrial chains. Hydrogen fluoride companies originally concentrated in areas with higher fluorite grades in the southeast and began to shift to fluorite production sites in Inner Mongolia. After several years of resource integration, Zhongxing Group has the largest production capacity, followed by Zhejiang Yingpeng Chemical. Most of these larger hydrogen fluoride enterprises own mine resources, or are located near the mining area, and are equipped with refrigerant and fluoride downstream product devices. .

Advanced technology companies such as Shandong Dongyue, Shanghai San Aifu, Jiangsu Meilan, Zhongyi Chenguangyuan further extend the fluorine industrial chain, and continue to produce fluorine rubber, fluorine resin, fluorine-containing fine chemicals, etc. from fluorine-containing hydrocarbons. High-end products.

Reusable Hydraulic Fittings

Reusable Hydraulic Fittings are a type of hydraulic fitting that can be reused multiple times. These fittings are designed to connect hoses or tubes in hydraulic systems and are commonly used in applications where frequent disassembly and reassembly are required, such as in maintenance and repair operations.

Unlike traditional hydraulic fittings, which require cutting the hose or tube to install them, reusable hydraulic fittings can be installed without the need for specialized tools or equipment. This makes them a cost-effective and time-saving solution for many hydraulic applications.

Reusable hydraulic fittings typically consist of two parts: a reusable fitting and a crimp collar. The fitting is designed to thread onto the end of a hose or tube, while the crimp collar is used to secure the fitting in place.
