Changsha invests more than 30 million yuan to build intelligent traffic guidance system

At present, the number of motor vehicles in Changsha has exceeded 1.1 million units, and it is still increasing in the number of 600 to 800 units per day. The contradiction in traffic in urban areas has become increasingly prominent. Changsha City invested more than 30 million yuan to build this intelligent traffic guidance system, will set up dozens of intelligent traffic guidance signs at the main intersections and road sections in the city.

The intelligent traffic driving induction display board can display traffic conditions of each road section in three different colors: red, yellow and green. When the vehicle speed is below 20 km/hour, red is displayed to indicate that the road section is jammed; the speed is 20 km/hour to 40 km/h, showing yellow, indicating that the road section is normal; speed is above 40 km/h, green is displayed, indicating that the road section can pass quickly.

The intelligent traffic guidance system will collect real-time information on traffic video surveillance, taxis, bus GPS positioning systems, and road surface coil detection results. After comprehensive evaluation of the collected road surface information, traffic guidance information will be generated. Cards are published in real time.
