The application of heap leaching technology in China began in 1980, but at the time of application, it was affected by many aspects such as production process and production scale of technology equipment, resulting in low gold leaching rate, while seriously wasting gold resources. It also caused serious pollution to the environment. However, with the deepening of research on low-grade gold ore heap leaching industry, it has greatly promoted the development of China's gold smelting technology, which has made China's low-grade gold mine heap leaching level a new stage.
As the grade of gold ore is getting lower and lower, the conventional re-election-cyanide process or flotation-cyanide process withdrawal rate cannot meet the requirements for full utilization of resources. Heap leaching technology, especially the whole mud cyanide leaching technology, is very advantageous for the treatment of low grade gold mines. The heap leaching of gold ore is to break down the low-grade gold ore to a certain particle size, and then pile the ore and use the cyanide leaching solution to spray the ore to make the cyanide and the ore have sufficient contact with the active component to make the gold solution. The form enters the gold-containing precious liquid and then recovers the gold.
2 gold mine stirring leaching
The gold mine agitation leaching and gold mine heap leaching are similar in principle. The difference is that the agitation leaching can make the minerals better contact with cyanide and improve the leaching rate and gold recovery rate. Stirring leaching requires the mineral to be ground to a specified particle size, which exposes the gold to the leaching. Generally, the grinding cost accounts for a large proportion of the beneficiation process. Stirring leaching is used to fully recover gold resources and rich ore with high gold content.
Methods for increasing the leaching rate include pressure leaching, warm leaching, and enhanced agitation.
