Description of escape breathing apparatus

Escape respirator can be divided into filtering self-rescue respirators and chemical oxygen self-rescue respirators. The working time of air respirator is generally 30~360min. The protection time limit varies according to the type of respirator.

In general, the protection time of air respirators is slightly shorter than that of oxygen respirators.

1. Self-contained compressed air breathing protection device is only used to escape from dangerous gas. It shall not be used for fire fighting, entering anoxic or liquid cargo tanks, nor for firefighters.

2. The compressed gas cylinder of the escape breathing apparatus is equipped with a pressure gauge. During storage, the pressure gauge does not show the air source pressure.

3. The escape breathing apparatus is equipped with a flame-proof hood that can cover the head, neck and shoulders. There is a clear, wide and bright observation window on the hood.

4. Easy to operate, just open the hood on the cylinder valve without any additional action.
