China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry News, recently, Chongqing Yuejin Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully exported the "16V265H medium speed diesel camshaft assembly" produced by American EMD Company. The assembly is the key power transmission component of EMD's new-generation medium-speed diesel engine for locomotives. The total length is 3.5 meters. There are 48 different "orientation angle" cams arranged on the shaft. The geometrical tolerances are strictly difficult to process and test. The overall processing level of the production enterprise has always been imported from Europe. After receiving the order, Zhongyue Company organized experienced technical and operational personnel to solve many problems such as heat treatment deformation and positioning error, and successfully realized the first domestic bulk export of the component in a short delivery period. It is also another breakthrough for Zhongyue Company in expanding the non-ship industry market.
