Japan's speed-degradable agricultural plastic film available

According to "Nikkei Industry News," reported on May 30th, 2012, the research team led by Kimura Yoshio of the Graduate School of Utsunomiya University in Japan cooperated with the Tochigi Antimicrobial Research Institute to adjust the proportion of scallop shell fine calcium compounds, which are the main components of degradable plastics. Successfully developed a speed-degradable agricultural plastic film .

The researchers used three kinds of biodegradable plastics as basic materials, added micro-calcium and calcium hydroxide powders developed by the Institute of Antibacterial Research, and then used peppers and neem micropowders as modified materials to make plastic films and then hydrolyzed them in vitro. The soil burial test found that a 0.1-mm-thick film made by heating and mixing 30 g of base material plus 3 g of a modified material has a weight loss rate of about 25% to 40% after 60 days from the start of the hydrolytic decomposition test. Below, the weight loss rate is only 1% to 1.8%. In the experiment, it was also found that the film added with the calcium compound, after being decomposed in the soil, can promote the neutral change of the acidic soil. At the same time, due to the addition of ingredients such as chili peppers and neem, plastic films can also play a role in the prevention of pests and diseases.

The development of a plastic film with variable-speed degradable and soil-improved soil was initiated in 2010 by the Ashikaga Bank, Tochigi Prefectural Government, and Nomura Securities, aiming to solve the problem of waste disposal of plastic films commonly used in agricultural materials. Speed-degradable degradable plastics buried in soil not only protect the environment, but also save energy. It can solve the problem that agricultural plastic film can be degraded after being buried in soil for 1 to 5 years.

The above research results were published at the annual meeting of the Japan Polymer Society held in Yokohama on the 31st.

Pouch With Perforated Hole

Pouch with perforated hole
This kind of bag has high requirements on material and technology, because of a round hole that can be inserted through a straw is needed to be injected in the middle of the bag. Such a bag type is generally used for liquids such as beverages and juices.
It is generally recommended that the material is pure aluminum, and a lot of space is also required at the top. The advantage is that the volume is relatively small, convenient storage and transportation, and reduce transportation costs.
Today, consumers can choose from a wide variety of creative beverage options. What type of beverage you are bringing to market? we can help you select packaging and finishing options that are creative, eye-catching, and a practical choice for consumers.
