The crosslinked polyethylene special resin developed by PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company has successfully realized industrial production. As of April 19, two batches of 228 tons of cross-linked polyethylene special-purpose resin J0253P for trial production of polyethylene units had been sold out.
Liaoyang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has been working on the research of cross-linked polyethylene since 2007. In 2008, it undertook the cross-linked polyethylene resin development project. After more than one year of research and development, small-scale test, pilot test and applied research, it finally achieved industrial production. And passed the national standard test. The test results show that the hydrostatic resistance and thermal stability of pipe products produced from this raw material have reached the level of South Korea's LG Chemicals, Samsung Chemicals and other equivalent products, and has significant advantages in terms of molecular weight distribution and particle size, which can replace imported similar products.
It is understood that crosslinked polyethylene special resin is the main raw material for floor heating plastic pipe production. At present, domestic demand for plastic pipe production enterprises for domestic heating reaches 60,000 tons/year.
