The Volvo S80 is now available with a 285-horsepower six-cylinder T6 performance engine and an all-wheel-drive system for the first time on the new Volvo V70, which was launched in March of this year. The other engine is a 185 D5 turbocharged diesel engine with all-wheel drive technology.
Hans Wikman, vice president of Volvo's large-scale automotive production line, said: "The T6 engine expands the range of the S80 engine. The engine's performance is excellent, but the fuel consumption rate and exhaust emission rate are very low. The T6 gasoline engine is in compact 3.2L inline aluminum. Based on the quality engine, the turbocharged version has a displacement of 3.0L, an output of 210Kw, a torque of no less than 400 Nm, and a time of 7.2 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h.
All-wheel drive with immediate traction
The Volvo S80 T6 is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled hydraulic clutch. The all-wheel drive system transmits power to the front and rear wheels, allowing the car to maintain good grip under all conditions.
