What are the application conditions for heavy media beneficiation?

The application conditions for heavy medium beneficiation are that the ore particles to be sorted must have a suitable lower particle size limit and an upper particle size limit.

Because of the small size of the ore particles, especially when the density of the ore particles is close to the density of the heavy medium, the sedimentation rate of the ore particles is small, so the separation process is slow and the sorting efficiency will be greatly reduced. Therefore, in industrial production, in order to have a faster speed and higher accuracy for the separation of the green ore particles, the lower limit of the particle size is limited, that is, the particle size cannot be too small. Therefore, the fine fraction is often screened out before the heavy medium is selected. Currently metal ore utilizing dense medium separation limit particle size is generally 2 to 3mm If the heavy medium cyclone is used, the lower limit of particle size can be reduced 0.5mm .

The upper limit of the particle size is selected, depending on the equipment conditions and the characteristics of the ore. For metal ore beneficiation, it is generally 70 ~ 100mm . At present, heavy medium beneficiation is commonly used to treat ore with coarse grain inlays or aggregate inlays.

The use of heavy medium beneficiation can remove a large amount of monomeric gangue, so that the amount of ore entering the next process is greatly reduced, thereby improving the production capacity of the concentrator and saving the ore dressing cost. Because of the advantages of heavy media beneficiation, this beneficiation method is commonly used as a pre-selection operation in metal ore dressing plants.

Stainless Steel Gas Tank

Gas storage tank refers to the equipment specially used to store gas and stabilize the system pressure at the same time. It can be divided into high-pressure gas storage tank, low-pressure gas storage tank and atmospheric pressure gas storage tank according to the pressure borne by the gas storage tank. Air Storage tanks are divided into carbon steel air storage tanks, low alloy steel air storage tanks and stainless steel air storage tanks. Air storage tank (pressure vessel) is generally composed of cylinder, head, flange, connecting pipe, sealing element, support and other parts and components. In addition, it is also equipped with safety devices, meters and internals to complete the functions of different production processes.

After the Air Compressor is installed in the air storage tank, it can not only store the compressed air, reduce the pressure pulsation caused by the discontinuous discharge of the compressor, and realize the balance of gas supply and consumption, but also reduce the temperature of the compressed air and reduce the load of The Filter and desiccant. Pay attention to the following problems in the selection of air storage tank:

1. Shell material: the air storage tank is a pressure vessel. There are three commonly used materials for the shell: Q235-B, 16MnR and 16MnDR.

2. Total height of air storage tank: the height of the air source room is about 2.9m. Considering that the air source is often moved and transported, it is necessary to maintain sufficient stiffness and strength. The height of the base is generally 300mm, and the roof is made into a slope, resulting in a clear height of 2M in the air source room, and all equipment shall not exceed 2m, otherwise it cannot be installed. At 2.5m ³ Take the air tank as an example.
