On April 23, the 2010 China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award was announced in Beijing. 58 scientific and technological achievements won the Technology Invention Award and the Technology Progress Award. A total of 151 projects for the science and technology awards for the petroleum and chemical automation industry this year have been submitted. After a rigorous review, 58 award-winning projects were eventually reviewed. Among them, there are 4 technological invention awards, including 2 first-prize and 2 third-class prizes; 54 scientific and technological progress awards, including 1 special-prize, 10 first-class, 20 second and 23 third-class prizes. .
According to Chen Minghai, the Secretary-General of the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association, the Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Award is an industry-wide scientific and technological award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association. The Technology Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award are the two major awards for the award. Each year, the award is awarded once. This year is the fifth year. From the perspective of the awards for the past five years, the number of declared projects has been growing rapidly year by year, the coverage has become wider and wider, the overall level has been greatly improved, and the degree of declaration of major achievements has become more and more concentrated. The award has become the most authoritative science and technology award in China's petroleum and chemical automation and information related disciplines and professional fields.
