Agilent introduces new LTM-II gas chromatography system

Agilent introduces new LTM-II gas chromatography system Agilent Technologies Inc. recently introduced the Agilent LTM-II System for Gas Chromatography, a second-generation patented low heat capacity technology that significantly increases sample throughput with faster column heating/cooling cycles.

The LTM-II system can utilize standard Agilent Chromatography Data System software, enabling users to seamlessly integrate higher-throughput LTM technology into their laboratory workflows.

Shuya Kane, Agilent's vice president of GC systems and workflow automation, said: “Many customers are under pressure to increase laboratory efficiency, but they do not want to run multiple instrument software systems. The new LTM-II control can work with all Agilent data systems. Platform, including the latest OpenLAB CDS software."

The Agilent LTM-II system can be used with the Agilent 7890 AGC, which is known for its powerful performance. Unlike the 7890A, which uses a conventional GC oven, the system's column is surrounded by a heating element and a temperature sensor, and both the program warming rate and the cooling rate are significantly faster.

The LTM-II system uses the same injection system, detector, and fused silica column used by the existing GC and GC/MS methods as the 7890 AGC. Agilent's method conversion software makes it easy for users to perform method conversions and use faster program warming and cooling to achieve faster chromatographic operating cycles.

Another patented gas chromatography technology from Agilent, Capillary Flow Technology, provides reliable, leak-free blowback and extends column life. This protects the column from contamination and also eliminates the time it takes for the compound to elute after it has been removed, further improving efficiency. The microfluidic flow control technology combined with LTM-II can realize the function of two-dimensional chromatography and can provide independent temperature control for different chromatographic columns at the same operation cycle.

These features make the rapid Agilent LTM-II system ideal for petrochemicals, environmental analysis, food safety testing, forensics, pharmaceutical QA/QC, and food/fragrance/fragrance analysis.

The LTM hardware includes a replaceable oven door for the Agilent 7890 AGC, including built-in electronics and slots for up to four LTM column modules. If needed, the 7890AGC can still be used as a gas chromatograph in a traditional column oven.

Knotting Machine For Warp Knitting

Knotting machine for warp knitting is a device used to join broken warp ends during the warp knitting process. It is an essential tool for warp knitting machines that run continuously for long periods of time, as broken warp ends can cause production downtime and affect the quality of the final product.

The knotting machine works by detecting a broken warp end and automatically tying a knot to connect the broken ends. The machine uses a series of sensors to detect the broken end and then feeds the ends through a knotting mechanism that ties a secure knot. The machine can also trim the excess thread to ensure a neat and tidy finish.

Knotting machines for warp knitting come in various sizes and configurations depending on the type of Warp Knitting Machine being used. They are typically made from high-quality materials to ensure durability and reliability.

Overall, a knotting machine for warp knitting is an essential tool for any textile manufacturer using a warp knitting machine. It helps to ensure continuous production and high-quality finished products.
