Analysis of the operation methods and skills of lathe

In August 2006, the third advanced manufacturing technology practice teaching and innovation production in Jiangsu Province was held in Jiangsu University. In November, Fuzhou University held a CNC lathe internship teaching competition, and the participating players from various universities showed their talents. One after another wonderful lecture classics, however, in the operation of CNC lathes, there are many techniques that are worth discussing and learning with colleagues.

In the usual teaching and operation demonstrations, we should use the theory to guide the practice and use the practice to test the correctness of the theory. Before operating the CNC machine tools, we must first understand the specifications of the CNC machine tool manufacturers, so that we can operate the machine tools. Give full play to its maximum efficiency and efficiency, so that our instructors and students can be closer to production practice.

In the CNC car teaching competition, many players have to interrupt the automatic execution because of the difference in the software part of the machine, such as the program can not be shared, or input errors, or program errors, or other reasons. After modifying the program, re-execute the program, which wastes a lot. Time, which caused the entries to fail to complete on time and lost the chance to win, players who are familiar with the "breakpoint search" function won the time. It is even more regrettable that when using the G54 function, it is wrong to cause a knife collision and a hidden danger of the accident, resulting in the incomplete processing of the entry.

1 The application of breakpoint search after program reset takes the CNC car of Siemens 802S system as an example. There is a “search breakpoint” function, which can reset the execution program and continue executing the program at the interrupt without restarting the program. This eliminates the need to execute blocks that have already been executed, thereby increasing efficiency. If the player does not know this function, once the program is reset, the entries will not be completed during the game operation and the chance of winning will be lost. The specific use of this function is as follows: (1) In the automatic execution state, the program needs to be interrupted for various reasons. We just press the reset button, and the menu will appear as shown in Figure 1.

(2) Enter the program window, modify the program to be changed, and close the program window.

(3) Go back to the automatic processing window and press the soft key under “Search” to open the “Search” window.

(4) Press “Breakpoint Search” and the “Breakpoint to Load” prompt appears, reaching the interrupted block.

(5) After the above prompt appears, press “Start B Search” to start the break point search and return the coordinates to the break point.

(6) When prompted, press the CNC start button to continue automatic machining. After completing this series of operations, the CNC lathe will execute the program from the interrupted block instead of starting from the first step of the program, saving time for the executed program.

2 Operational skills for the establishment of coordinate system: the establishment of programming coordinates and the rational application of G54 First of all, the programming coordinate system, that is, the workpiece coordinate system, is established. It is an X? Z rectangular coordinate system established by using a point on the workpiece as the coordinate origin. In theory, the origin of the coordinate system on the workpiece can be at any point on the workpiece, but this can cause cumbersome calculation problems and add programming trouble. For the convenience of calculation and simplifying the programming, the origin of the workpiece coordinate system is usually set at the intersection of the center of rotation and the right end face. As far as possible, the reference design of the programming reference is coincident. In this respect, the competitors can generally follow. However, in the specific operation of the machine tool (), how to coincide the mechanical origin with the programming origin, the operation skills are different, the effect is not the same, some are reasonable, and some are cumbersome and error-prone.

It is suitable for the application of the tool compensation window of the machine tool itself in the numerical control vehicle. It is not suitable to apply G54 for tool offset to make the machine origin coincide with the programmed origin. Because: (1) manufacturers of CNC lathes have taken this into account, so the characteristics of CNC vehicles have made the tool compensation window suitable for the compensation characteristics of the lathe, as long as the trial turning method to obtain X-Z compensation data, and can automatically Calculate within the storage system. The required tool is tested in the manual state. After the trial cutting, the system automatically calculates the offset of the tool by inputting the diameter of the workpiece in the “Tool Setting” window. Instead of having to manually enter it after calculation.

(2) With G54, it is necessary to calculate the compensation data and input it, which is troublesome to use.

(3) The key to using G54 is to clear all the tool compensation data, otherwise it will hit the knife and even cause an accident. If you do not clear the tool compensation data,

The required coordinate value is the data calculated by the value of the tool and the tool compensation data vector, which can be regarded as the value input by G54. Many players just did not understand the point of attention when using the G54, which caused the machine tool to hit the knife and could not complete the entry.

(4) G54 should be applied to: the same blank material is machined to produce multiple parts or one workpiece at a time to achieve multiple identical tool paths. Use offset G0 or G158 to offset the programmed origin to the desired coordinate point.
