China's "ship laser welding technology" project is progressing smoothly

Supported by the Chinese and German governments, Shanghai Jiaotong University is the main responsible unit, and the technical cooperation project initiated by the company, “Research on High Power Laser Welding Technology for Ships”, is progressing smoothly. The second batch of personnel has already set off for training in Germany. . This is the first research and application project of welding technology developed by China's shipbuilding industry.

From 2004 to 2007, this topic focused on the application of the latest combination technology of high-power laser welding in shipbuilding. The project was strongly supported by the German government and six research institutes and enterprises in Germany. According to the plan, Germany will provide advanced equipment and personnel training to China, and carry out technical cooperation and exchanges with China. At the same time, China's scientific research and engineering and technical personnel will give full play to the research and development capabilities of welding technology. Through the implementation of the project, we will achieve the goal of "cultivating a group of people, cultivating a batch of new technologies, and producing a batch of results". The application of technology advances to the level of simultaneous development with the world's advanced technology.

It is understood that laser welding has the advantages of high welding energy density, precise control, strong penetrating ability, large depth-to-width ratio of weld, low heat input, small welding deformation, and can be welded by different welding shielding gas. It is a new hot spot for welding in the 21st century. However, since the spot diameter after the laser focusing is small, the assembly clearance of the workpiece to be welded is required to be high, and therefore, it is difficult to apply laser welding on the shipbuilding. It is reported that at present, only Germany, the United States and other European and American countries use laser welding technology to build ships, of which Germany is particularly leading.

  1. Elevator Traction Machine

While there is a wide range of elevators to fit every need, they fall under three basic types: machine-roomless, gearless traction and geared traction.

Traction elevators are the most common type of elevators. Elevator cars are pulled up by means of rolling steel ropes over a deeply grooved pulley, commonly called a sheave in the industry. The weight of the car is balanced by a counterweight. Sometimes two elevators are built so that their cars always move synchronously in opposite directions, and are each other's counterweight.
