Radiator maintenance method for diesel generator set: 1. The cooling fluid of the generator set radiator in operation is usually very hot, and there is pressure. It is not allowed to finish the radiator or dismantle the pipe when it is not cooled, and not when the fan rotates. Work on the radiator or open the fan guard. Second, corrosion is the main cause of failure in the radiator. Always keep tube fittings leak-free, and periodically drain water from the top of the radiator to keep the system “airlessâ€. Radiators should not be partially filled with water, as this will accelerate corrosion. For non-working generators, all the water must be evacuated or fully filled. If possible, use distilled water or natural soft water and add an appropriate amount of rust inhibitor. Third, the external cleaning: In a dusty or dirty product environment, the radiator gap may be blocked by debris, insects, etc., thus affecting the efficiency of the radiator. Frequent cleaning of these light deposits can be sprayed with low pressure hot water plus detergent to spray steam or water from the front of the radiator to the fan. Spraying from the opposite direction will only blow dirt into the center. When using this method, use a cloth to block the diesel engine and alternator. The stubborn deposits, which cannot be removed by the above method, can be removed by immersing the radiator in hot alkaline water for about 20 minutes and then rinsed with hot water. 4. Internal Cleaning: If there is water leakage from the joint, there is no choice to use hard water for a period of time, or because the power generation runs for a while and there is no use of rust remover, the system may become clogged with scale. Removing scale can be performed as follows: 1. Drain the water from the cooling system, and then remove the pipe from the place where the diesel engine is connected; 2. Accurately remove the rust acid solution and water by 4% and pour the acid into the water. Do not proceed in reverse; 3. Wait a few minutes for it to mix, then heat the solution to 49°C (120°F), this is a high point, not higher; 4. Slowly pour the solution through a filter cap or a tiller Into the pipeline, it will bubble up at this time. When the chemical reaction has stopped, fill the radiator with the hot solution. 5. Allow the solution to stay in the system for a few minutes. Then return the solution from the bottom pipe or drain to the original container. 6. Check the inside of the tank. Scale, then repeat the above steps to increase the acid solution to 8%; 7, after descaling, according to the following steps to neutralize the reaction of the acid: the container filled with water, heated to the boiling point, plus For daily use soda crystals, use the following ratio: 500g soda with 20 liters of water (1 pound with 4 gallons of water), use this solution to fill the radiator, and then let it flow back to the original container; 8.
