Recently, Hangzhou Hangzhou Oxygen Co., Ltd. and Shenhua Group held a contract signing ceremony in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, and Hangzhou Oxygen officially obtained the design, procurement and service contracts for 4 sets of 60000Nm3/h air separation unit of the Shenhua Baotou Coal to Olefin Project.
The four sets of 60,000 air separation devices are the 10th set of 60,000 class air separation equipment that Hang Oo has undertaken following projects such as Iran, Baosteel, and Datang International. The contract is the largest single contract for the Shenhua Baotou Coal to Olefins Project so far. There are a number of internationally renowned companies participating in the bidding process. Hangzhou Oxygen finally won the technology and management strength, and will cooperate with Shenhua Group to achieve the strong cooperation of large enterprises, and jointly build China's demonstration project to build a large-scale coal chemical industry base.
Shenhua Baotou Coal to Olefin Project will be put into production in 2010. Since the project was approved by the state in December 2006, it entered the substantive implementation stage in 2007, and the overall design and equipment procurement work has been fully carried out. The air separation unit is an important part of the coal-to-olefins project.
