Market hot commercial vehicle manufacturers have raised their sales targets

In fact, almost all manufacturers feel the rapid growth in the industry's booming situation, and this year's sales target will increase by at least 20%.

Annual goal increase by 20%

As for the trend of the second half of the year, the industry remains optimistic. Apart from maintaining the inertia of the first half of the year, it is mainly based on considerations of multiple factors: First, the logistics industry is gaining ground in China and will usher in a relatively long growth period; The development of special vehicles in China is at an early stage, and there is great potential for follow-up development, which will promote the demand for heavy-duty truck chassis. Third, the planned projects of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” will also provide certain support for the demand for complete vehicles. Fourthly, due to factors such as diesel quality, the Euro III standard originally scheduled to be implemented on July 1, 2007 has been postponed. The most unfavorable factor affecting the demand for heavy trucks has temporarily slowed down. Before the formal implementation of Euro III, the consumption of heavy trucks will be “overdraft”, which may cause the industry to have an explosive growth in the short term and then quickly decline.

Therefore, the industry is more agreeable that in the second half of the year, the heavy truck market will continue to maintain rapid growth. It is expected that the sales of heavy trucks will increase by more than 50% year-on-year in 2007.

While the industry is still on a good track, major manufacturers have adjusted their original plans to increase the target by more than 20%.

In the market, the relatively low-key Sinotruck related personage said that this year's sales of 90,000 vehicles will surely be no problem, and even hit 100,000 units, which is already 25% higher than the planned 80,000 units at the beginning of the year; Under the premise of guarantee, China National Heavy Duty Truck will focus on sales of high value-added products such as dump trucks and cement mixing.

Dongfeng also quietly raised its target to the 90,000 from the original 80,000 vehicles. Based on the optimistic judgment of the industry, Shaanxi Automobile Group has already made 50,000 bolder predictions at the beginning of the year, but the plan has not changed much faster. In the past half year, Shaanxi Automobile plans to increase from the original 50,000 vehicles to 60,000 vehicles or increase 20%.

The Beiji Foton Motor Co., Ltd., which had the largest target adjustment for the whole year, has raised its sales target from 40,000 to 60,000 units in one breath, and the rate of increase has reached 50%. Fukuda is still emboldened, because even if the target of 60,000 vehicles, Fukuda has more than half of the task in the first half.

According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first half of this year, total sales of heavy trucks reached 255,800 units, an increase of 66.84% year-on-year; four of the top six heavy-duty truck manufacturers increased by more than 60% year-on-year, with Shaanxi Auto and Foton increasing even more. 87.55% and 120.17%.

The rapid growth of sales in the first half of the year made the heavy truck manufacturers' tasks in the first half of this year have basically been exceeded. It sold 53,000 vehicles in the first half of this year and has completed nearly 70% of its original annual target of 80,000 vehicles.

SAIC Group and Foton Motor, which have grown more rapidly this year, have higher compliance rates in the first half of the year. Shaanxi Automobile sold a total of 30,600 vehicles in the first half of the year and completed 61.2% of the annual target of 50,000 vehicles. Dongfeng sold 47,700 heavy trucks in the first half of the year, an increase of 33.87% year-on-year. Among them, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company sold 10,000 Dongfeng Tianlong and Titan heavy trucks in the first half of the year and completed 58.82% of the annual plan. The sales volume of FAW Jiefang heavy trucks increased by 63% year-on-year to 63,456 units and completed more than 60% of the plan for the beginning of the year.

The above five families of heavy trucks represent almost 80% of the entire industry's market share. The smaller scale of Valin Motors and JAC Gehrafa doubled their growth in the first half of the year and almost completed 100% of the annual plan.
