LED lighting replacement in Singapore

Street lights in 500 streets in Singapore will be gradually replaced with LED lighting fixtures, and the entire replacement project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2018. The Singapore Land Transport Authority is currently actively experimenting with high-wattage LED street lights (over 250 watts) on major roads and highways. Since August last year, the Land Transport Bureau has tested the energy efficiency, longevity and stability of high wattage LED streetlights in Lorong1ToaPayoh and is expected to complete this test in 2016.
