Great Wall Motors disclosed on the 6th that Great Wall Motors had recently obtained a government purchase order for 20 cars of Malaysian Mayou Nide Construction Company and became the first Chinese car brand to receive Malaysian government purchase orders.
The 20 Great Wall Motors purchased this time, including 3 Haval SUVs and 17 Typhoon Juniper, are mainly used for infrastructure projects such as highway construction in Malaysia.
It is understood that Ma You Nide Construction Company is a subsidiary of Ma You Nide Company and one of the largest government agencies in Malaysia. The relevant person in charge of the company said that the 20 procurements are just a beginning, and there will be a batch order plan later.
It is reported that Great Wall Motor won awards in Malaysia after entering the Malaysian market in 2011. On July 11, 2012, Great Wall Automotive's Haval H5 won the Best SUV Assembly Award in Malaysia. This is the first time that the Asian Automobile Industry Award has been awarded by the Chinese brand since its establishment five years ago.
