International Auto Parts Group's new Asia headquarters opens in Shanghai

International Automobile Parts Group (IAC) announced on June 6 that its new Asian headquarters in Shanghai was officially opened on the same day.

The new Asia headquarters will occupy an area of ​​30,000 square feet. In addition to including a technical center, it will also accommodate various business units in the IAC Asia region, including business and management activities as well as global and local design/engineering, procurement and manufacturing leaders. .

IAC president and CEO James Kamsickas said: “The new headquarters of IAC in Shanghai allows us to highlight the company’s global infrastructure while enabling us to continue to provide our customers with unwavering support.”

When it was established in 2006, IAC Group has only two factories and a technology center in Asia. Today, the Group has 20 factories and six technology centers throughout Asia. The new headquarters that was put into operation in Shanghai today is IAC. China's 12th factory (including technology center).

At present, the new headquarters has hired 115 employees, including technology, management and sales personnel. IAC stated that as the business grows, the number of employees in the new headquarters will reach 150.
