Michelin Ranked No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction Survey for 7 Consecutive Years

JD Power and Associates, an authoritative global survey agency, published the results of the 2011 US OE tire satisfaction survey . In terms of brand rankings, Michelin is a leader in the luxury car, passenger car, sports car and truck business . This is also the first time in seven consecutive years that Michelin has been ranked since the survey began in 2004.

In the luxury car business, Michelin scored 750 points (1000 points total). Pirelli ranked second with 743 points, Bridgestone ranked third with 711 points, Goodyear ranked fifth with 695 points, Dunlop ranked sixth with 684 points, while the mainland Continental ranked seventh with 673 points. The average luxury car industry is divided into 644 points.

In the sports car business, Michelin scored 780 points, which is 30 points ahead of the second Goodyear. Continental and Bridgestone rank third and fourth respectively with 678 points and 640 points. The average sports car industry is divided into 710 points.

According to JD Power and Associates, the satisfaction score in each business area consists of four parts - wear resistance, appearance, traction and mileage. In addition, the 2011 survey included up to 26,000 new car buyers, all of whom used models for 2009 or 2010.
