On the morning of June 15, Mr. Liu took a blood sample from the calf and another cow to the Ningxia Dingzhen Biological Judicial Identification Institute. When Dr. Ji Duo asked whether the sample of blood taken was a mother of calves and cows, Mr. Liu said that he could not confirm it because there were too many cows, except that according to many years of breeding experience, only the color and pattern of the body of the cattle could be obtained. To distinguish between the relationship of cattle, whether the two blood-collected cattle are mothers and daughters or grandparents and grandchildren, he cannot determine.

Dr. Ji Ji told Mr. Liu that in the Ningxia region, the first case of paternity testing for animals was done. If two cows are indeed a mother-daughter relationship, then the genes of the two cows are at least 1/2 related, so there is also sufficient evidence that the Mavericks are the "flowers" of Mr. Liu's family, and if it is the relationship between the grandparents and the grandchildren. However, only one quarter of the genes of the two cows are related. In the forensic stage, it is not enough to prove that the Mavericks are "flowers."
