Tesla Global builds four super battery factories or is located in China

According to foreign media reports, at the TED2017 global seminar held in Vancouver this week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed in an interview that in the future, Tesla will build four new super battery factories in the world. The specific location of the new factory will be announced sometime this year. Some analysts believe that one of the super battery factories is likely to be in China.

Tesla had previously mentioned this plan. Tesla will finalize the location of three new super battery factories this year in its recently released quarterly earnings report. Tesla currently has a super battery plant in Nevada, and has partnered with Panasonic to build the SOLARCITY solar panel plant in New York. The current site has been selected and the project is waiting for approval from the relevant government departments.
