The recall was carried out under the influence of the AQSIQ defect investigation. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine immediately organized a defect product management center to officially launch a defect investigation for the relevant automobile producers.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will organize the supervision and evaluation of the scope and recall measures of this recall to effectively protect the personal and property safety of consumers. United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. and producers affected by the faulty fuel pump should continue to investigate the range of possible faulty fuel pumps. If the scope of the recall is found to be inaccurate, the recall should be implemented as soon as possible.
