France's Duffingen Acquires Henan Rubber and Plastics Business

French auto supplier DelfiningIndustrySA has acquired the harness protection product business of China Tianhai Hengbang (Hebi) Rubber & Plastics Co., Ltd.

Tianhai Hengbang has a factory in Hebi, Henan Province, and a service center near customers in Changchun, Chongqing, Jilin and Harbin. The company has annual sales of 1.5 million euros.

Delfingen’s press release stated that the acquisition will help it gain more market share among Chinese wire harness manufacturers and automakers while expanding its industrial and logistics operations. Duffingen supplies protective systems and fluid transfer systems, seat components and assembly technology. The company operates in 18 countries and employs 1,600 people worldwide. Its 2012 sales amounted to 122 million euros.
