This standard is applicable to product inspection tests for automotive suspension coil springs (hereinafter referred to as springs).
Common terms:
1. The spring term used in this standard is in accordance with the provisions of GB 1805-79 "Spring terminology" and "Automotive Suspension Terms and Definitions."
2. The spring work load refers to the vertical work load (unit: N) that the spring is subjected to when the car is fully loaded on the horizontal support surface. 3. The dynamic deformation of the spring means the amount of deformation between the height under the working load of the spring and the height under the working limit load.
Spring strength test:
A, the spring of the vertical direction of the permanent deformation test 1, spring support method The spring axis should be perpendicular to the test bench face, and consistent with the direction of the load.
Test method 1 The test is generally performed on a ZCTL-S/W spring tension tester;
2 The spring is pre-compressed once and the spring is pressed until the stress is the tensile strength Q of the material. The height corresponding to 50% is measured by the free height of the spring after unloading, and then the load is continuously loaded 3 times with the same load, and then the free height of the spring is measured after unloading. The difference between the two measurement results should not be greater than the free height H. 0.5%.
B. Fatigue test in the vertical direction 1. Spring support method The spring axis shall be perpendicular to the working surface of the test bench and be consistent with the loading direction.
Test Methods Test methods for springs are performed in the following order:
1 Measure the spring height at the time of work load;
2 The spring load working height is taken as the mounting reference, and the spring dynamic working deformation amplitude is used as the alternating fatigue test. The load and free height were measured at 50,000 times and 100,000 times respectively, and then the load was adjusted to the working load to continue the test. After 200,000 tests, the spring load loss shall not be greater than 2% of the working load P, and the height loss shall not be greater than the free height H. 1%.
3 The number of spring fatigue tests is 200,000 times. If spring break occurs within 200,000 times, the actual number of cycles at the time of breakage is taken as the life of the spring.
C. Fatigue test with hinged guide mechanism This test is carried out only when there are special requirements.
1. The spring support method is supported in an actual assembly state or a similar construction state.
2. Test method The test method of the spring is performed in the following order:
1 Measure the spring height at the time of work load;
2 The spring load working height is taken as the mounting reference, and the spring dynamic working deformation amplitude is used as the alternating fatigue test. After 200,000 tests, the spring load loss should not be greater than 200 of the working load P, and the height loss should not be greater than the free height H. 1%
3 The number of spring fatigue tests is 200,000, and the spring break occurs within 200,000 times. The actual number of cycles at break is used as the life of the spring.
