It is reported that Danish API Marine will provide a TSS/BMS4 tank (water tank) remote control detection system for an icebreaker supply vessel (NB 511) and three icebreaker vessels (NB 512-514).
The TSS/BMS4 tank (water tank) remote remote sounding system is the next generation level and draft measurement electro-pneumatic system developed by API Marine. Thanks to the improved modular design of the system, the capability is increased and the cost is reduced.
This series of ships was built for Sovcomflot, Russia's largest shipping company. Upon completion, these vessels will serve the offshore oil and gas fields in the northeast of Sakhalin.
The ice platform supply vessel (NB 511) will be used to supply between ground-based and offshore drilling and production sites.
The other two icebreaking garrisons (NB 512-514) will undertake cargo transfer, garrison and rescue and oil spill recovery tasks.
